Trying to find work to do whilst I wait for my photo...

I couldn't develop my photographs yesterday because it was Sunday, then I couldn't develop them today because Max Spielman didn't do b+w, then neither did Jessops. Then the woman at Calumet told me to go to Dunns. So i had to go all the way to Cradley Heath and leave them there overnight. Whilst I was waiting for them all these days I decided to make myself a title page to display the type of film, worked out quite nicely.

I just created it on the computer, printed on tracing paper and then stapled it to the page.

2004 India

In 2004 my Dad took me to India, just the two of us. I can't really remember much about it other than that it was awesome and so chilled. Today discovered some photographs under my bed that I took whilst I was there. I think they kind of sum up the whole experience.

I made some cute friends...

 This dog was lovely.

These two aren't the best quality but I thought I'd throw them in too.

I can't remember who the man in this photo was and I didn't really like it, so I decided to do some more mediocre editing on paint. I'm still not sure about it though.

Decided to do some crazy editing to make these photos more interesting.

The first photograph is the original, which I didn't think I would be able to use. I experimented a bit and I actually quite like it now. I then decided to try again with a different photograph that I thought might be a bit too boring to use...

Lightbulb. Take one.

 Lightbulb. Take two.

 Lightbulb. Take three.

Got myself some lovelyyy Fuji film for my camera and went snapping for my Camberwell and Saint Martins porfolios.

Contact Sheet.

I was walking my dog one day (unfortunately camera free) and decided to walk a different route, when I came across all of these weird creepy looking houses. I went back to take some photos, I actually got shouted at for photographing somebodies house ahhh scary.

Growing and Shrinking.
This photograph was also taken on my adventure. However, I wanted to keep these separate from the series.

My two favourite things, eggs and slippers.

Cracked egg.

I don't think you can really tell what this photo is of, but maybe that's for the best if I want to take it to show universities.

Flower presses didn't work, but I took a photograph of them instead.

Sunny Afternoon.

I know this photo is blurry but I just love Luna too much not to take photos of her being awesome and cute.

This is probably my favourite photograph that came from this reel of film. The double exposure was completely accidental from the end of the film. Looks like I've got three hedgehogs again.

Untitled
Disposable camera for sky, MINOX 35MM for beach and sea
2011.

This one's crazy because I manually edited the sand and sea from spain, but the sky taken from Wales.

For my Goldsmith's online portfolio I was only given maximum 12 photographs to upload. I decided that in order to cheat the system, I could edit all of the 'Earth Press' photographs into one. Unfortunately I felt that the last, and most abstract of the images didn't quite fit into this piece. I wish in a way that I had also uploaded the last image, however I think it may be too late.

I am currently waiting on some real flower presses, however as they take 2 weeks without a microwave, or a time machine, I decided to attempt something similar using my own instant method. These pieces that I have named 'Earth Press' are the second series of my 'moleskin experience'.
